Donald Trump Tweets About Benghazi During Istanbul Attack

UPDATE 2:24 p.m. PST — About an hour after Trump tweeted about Benghazi and Hillary Clinton, he weighed in on the attack in Istanbul.

As the rest of the world has its eyes turned to Istanbul, Turkey — where two suicide bombers have killed at least killed 10 people and injured more than 60 others on Tuesday — presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is talking about Hillary Clinton and Benghazi

The single best thing he can do for his campaign is run all tweets through several people before ever hitting post.

Yup he definitely has diarrhea of the twitter. I don't think his crew has any hope of keeping him under control.

Most of the people on his campaign have a similar mindset. The ones being fired or quit might be the people you're referring to.

I think even his supporters sometimes think WTH

Nope, If that was true, he'd never had made it past the Mexican are rapists and murderers comment. As it's been said before his supporters are with him BECAUSE of it, not in spite of it.

“Hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated.” – Coretta Scott King

I have to disagree. I know quite a few Trump supporters and most of them are very nice people. But here's what I've noticed.

Most of them are very disappointed in the government, to the point of being angry. They have a strong dislike of politicians, so they've often wanted somebody to run who wasn't a politician. They've had options this election, and in the previous election, to choose an outsider other than Trump. But none were even close to being as popular as Trump. And, the simple reason is that he expresses their anger. When he is rude and insulting to everybody else; they like it because it seems to go with their anger. His rudeness is what has pulled people in; not his racism.

When he goes totally nuts and crosses the line; they make excuses. Not because they agree, but because they want to be able to keep supporting him. The common excuse is that he simply isn't a polished speaker because he's not a politician. And the other common excuse is that it's just the press out to get him.

When given the choice of admitting they are supporting a racist or choosing to believe that they are supporting someone who just doesn't speak well in public; of course, they choose the latter. That's what is so frustrating for me.

The obvious problem is that Trump knows words and he has the best words. And he is simply showing who he really is. He's a total racist who is unqualified to be President.

i know quite a few 'nice people' who are all about trump. they're all white and don't have to pay much mind to the fact that trumps a racist, because racism doesn't affect them personally. interestingly, all the trump supporters i know are also birthers and think the obama administration is in fact, isis. they also harbor stereotypical attitudes about many different groups, although they don't consider their attitudes racist. just edgy and politically incorrect. but i agree, they are all good enough people - not klan members or anything. i also agree about the anger, the anger for 'the other' has been driving poor/middle class white americans for as long as i've been paying attention to politics. any successful candidate that wants to court this sector of the american vote, needs to know the best words to really bring out the anger while at the same time knowing the best words to soothe the anger. trump's got it down, he's read all the right books.

Interesting enough, most of the people I know and spend time with aren't white. Hence, most of the Trump supporters that I personally know aren't white. That fact does nothing to diminish the racism that exists in Trumps message. It does show that any person can fool themselves into believing anything; even that Trump would be a good President.

yep, i don't personally know a single non-white person that's behind trump. granted, the majority of people i know and spend time with are white. probably why i see more of the racist angle in the average trump supporter.
