Ever since I have been here. You may not have seen it done before since most know, but they have always been peculiar about that issue.

Like Obama's speech about why he refuses to call islamic terrorists islamic terrorists? This sort of trick only works on dyed-in-the-wool proles. For everyone else it is just irritating and serves no common good.

For the record the original thread title to best of my recollection was something like "Turkey continues its descent into Islamic terrorism with massive airport attack". This caused one person to lose their mind and a mod to edit it.

I agree with you and enjoy having another middle of the road guys here, just saying they have always been pretty tight on that issue if it's noticed. I know I am defending a mod action, but it is one thing they have been fairly even handed and consistent about.

I stand by assessment, I regularly see a lack of understanding about the differences between groups and cultures in the mid east. I never said ISIS was not behind it , just that there was not enough info available to warrant the original headline, AND PKK terrorist attacks in Turkey far outstrip attacks motivated by religious groups. So is Turkey descending into a Communist and radical Islamic fireball at the same time?

title of the thread must match the title of the linked article. this is due to some posters in the past taking literary license too far.
