It varies from person to person. We applied in March and it took them over 3 months before they looked at our file.

We filed in December 2015 and were approved on June 22 2016. It took almost 6 months (177 days). So yeah, it can take time..

I filed January 2016 and got approved June 2016. It takes time some people got lucky and got approved really fast. Depends on filing and how fast they're working at USCIS

I follow some i-129f cases on the USCIS case tracker app on my phone. They all have a receive date in December and haven't been updated at all since then, they're still stuck at NOA1.

1 case was received on December 17
11 cases were received on December 24
8 cases were received on December 28
2 cases were received on December 29

So compared to these poor couples you April filers are still doing quite well.

I do understand the frustration though, we waited for almost 6 months for our NOA2. The wait was so horrible.
