Wrong birthday on I-129f !

I can't believe I JUST caught this but my fiancées birthday is wrong on the petition.

In Afghanistan they don't have birth certificates and on their translated ID papers, they say "was 18 years old in 2011" , as their "birthday" to know how old the person is- no date no month etc. so from that the person who put together our petition calculated and put his birthday as January 1, 1993.

But on his passport it says April 1, 1993. It would be nearly impossible to have it changed on his passport now and would take a lot of time and money to try to change it (if they even are willing to change it)...

My petition is already approved I received my NOA2 on June 8th and it should be on the way or at NVC now... Is there any way I can quick fix this and tell them I just realized my fiancées birthday is wrong on the petition and it's April 1st not January 1st? Will they change it? I'm worried now..

I did the some thing, what I did was call the USCIS service center 800 number that was on the receipt. They advised me to write a letter explaining to them what the error was and they will correct it in their system. along with the letter i sent a new application, with the corrected DOB, just incase they needed a new one.

I have already received my NOA2 however and it is going to be sent to NVC so now from my knowledge all inquiries about the case goes to NVC... Do you think they would be able to fix it ? Or should I still call USCIS ...

I would call the USCIS just to be safe, and see what they can do

My fiancee and I already submitted our 129F petition and it is currently at the California Service Center with a receipt date of 09/21/16. My fiancee's passport has an incorrect date of birth due to a clerical error in her province's administrative office when she acquired her national identification card. Any document that she uses for identification purposes in Vietnam has her with a Date of Birth of September 15th, 1990 but her actual date of birth is May 19, 1990 on her birth certificate. She has already traveled to Vietnam to Thailand with the passport with the incorrect date. Should we wait until the petition is reviewed by the California to do anything regarding this or should we wait until it is at the Consulate to make this change? Is an original birth certificate the only document the US Consulate will accept when it comes to the interview time there? I heard that it is common in Vietnam to have incorrect date of birth on identification due to administrative error.
