I-864 Checklist Question...Help!!

Help!!! So I was just going through my checklist again for my interview. I don't know how I missed it, but can someone clarify it for me?

For the Evidence of Support, it's stating that I have to bring the original I-864 and supporting documents (which I have), then it asks for a list of hubby's assets? What assets are they referring too? He doesn't own anything apart from his car, the unit he lives in is his inheritance and not in his name.

Then its also asking for Evidence of Support Joint Sponsor?? Stating that it's highly recommended that we submit another I-864 for a joint sponsor but decision will be made at interview whether we need it or not! If this was the case and we needed a joint sponsor wouldn't they have asked for it at NVC stage? Hubby made well over the required income level last year? And I highly doubt we will be able to get a joint sponsor.

If someone could shed some light on this, it would be appreciated. Kind of freaking out now, only 4 weeks till interview :cry::o

09/03/2016 - AOS Fee paid
18/03/2016 - Received and paid IV Bill
22/03/2016 - Sent AOS & IV Documents
24/03/2016 - Scan date
08/04/2016 - Received RFE - apparently I didn't send I-864 form (as if I would forget that!) and police certificate (admittedly I sent the wrong one?)
18/04/2016 - Resent required documents (had to wait a week for new police certificate)
20/04/2016 - 2nd scan date for RFE documents
09/05/2016 - Case Completed ? (Now just waiting for interview date!!!)
26/05/2016 - Received Interview letter via email, interview scheduled for 26/07/2016 ??

Sounds like you got a form letter, assuming your hubby's income matches his tax returns and is well documented.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

That's exactly what Hubby said 'that is was a form letter and don't worry about it'. Yes everything matches and all is documented and over the minimum income amount. So I guess I'm asking should I not worry about it??

Just got the same leter exactly for Sydney interview August .. we already have a joint sponsor documented so the letter didnt make much sense either ...... but for different reasons. Lets go with it being a standard form letter, i am working off the 3 page document on the Canberra consilate website ....

Well that's is a relief lol! Obviously it is a standard form letter. I was working off the one from the consulate website as well until I read that email again, and so, I will go back to that. Thank you for clearing that up :)
