Spider bit me while I was sleeping. I musta squished it while it crawling over my fingers.

It really hurt for a bit but now its not so bad. The bite marks are all blistered up, should i pop them?

That depends on whether if you wanna come off as motorcycle Irene, or Victoria's secret...

the latter

What milk are you byuing? It tends to be richer and creamier. Whole milk there is actually whole milk, not a mix like here.

What milk? There's no ###### milk in Canada! This morning I drove 2 miles to find a whole foods to get milk. The kid had a bottle. We went out, and have not found ###### milk since then. I stopped in 200 stores and there's not a pint of ###### milk to be had! The kind folks at a Starbucks gave us a cup of the milk they put into coffee. But the kid, even hungry, wouldn't touch it. Starbucks in the US all sell milk. Every gas station, every 7-11, every hole corner bodega has milk. Here, only large ###### supermarkets have anything resembling milk!

This place is going to shits. It's 96 degrees and like 100% humidity. No-one ever heard of air conditioning. Canada is turning into Malaysia (and I have pics to prove it!). Every single premise we visited so far had inadequate AC.

I've been to Toronto 2 dozen times. This is the worst weather I've ever seen.

The Europeans, priced out of the US by the weaker euro, flocks to Canada. Yonge street was 10 times worse than times square.

But...

It's still a friendly place. The people are nice. The dollar goes far. The food is great. We scraped plans to go to the Portuguese section for dinner. It's just too crowded and too hot...

Well I don't know anything about Toronto. I've always hated the place and never go there unless I have to.

Not sure why you can't find milk that is weird, Macs and any other corner store sells it everywhere else.

As for Starbucks well they suck and they they probably gave the Turtle cream not milk.

Young Street has never been a good area. It's one of the places to avoid ever since I was a kid.

Yes the temps are crazy they are experiencing a major heat wave, most stores should have it but the turkeys are probably thinking there's no point as it's going to be freezing in a day.

Stop hanging out in the crappy end of town.

Hope things get better.

Turtle won't drink water or maybe formula? Starbucks in America have those baby food pouches too now.

We had to buy sød "sweet" milk in Denmark, which is the same as our whole milk. They are both 3.5% fat.

Even though he gets about 70% real milk now, I always travel with formula to give in a bind, either the prepackaged liquid or made that morning and put in an insulated bag with an ice pack. Always prepared, I am.

The older one survived on nestle strawberry milk in Malaysia. The turtle will drink the whole milk from whole foods. I have a cooler. I'll just lug the carton around tomorrow. Baby formula was the last resort. But man this is Canada, it's supposed to be like the US!

It cooled down and we ventured out for Nipponese food. Across the street from the hotel. This stumbled-upon place just blew away every Nipponese, jewpanese, fookpanese restaurant in NYC. And it's no where near an ocean. 110 bucks (CAD) fed 8, 20 buck tip included...
