I think I've talked about my deep loathing of going to the doctor (and my subsequently not so well healed potential big toe fracture). Again, I've ###### up my leg or there is some problem with my plate or a combo of my plate and the MCL. I haven't been able to walk the kid to school for 2 weeks. I had to use a cane whilst grocery shopping today. New lows in doctor avoidance have been hit.

I promised the Dane I would go if it wasn't improving in 2 weeks or it got a lot worse at any point.

I have a suspicion that if it doesn't heal that I might be looking at some issue that can't really be fixed, like my plate is rubbing against the MCL and now that I've very recently regained some feeling in that area that I notice it and my MCL might just have never healed from the original injury. I'm also down to maybe 2 ibuprofen every few days rather than the 8 a day or something I had been taking for over a decade. I might have been in pain all along.

Didn't need one today. Hot sore area on my plate has resolved itself. Knee still shaky, but not terrible.

You've been taking 8 ibuprofen a day? For years?

Sometimes more, sometimes less for probably a decade. There aren't many other options besides opiates and muscle relaxants. Muscle relaxants definitely the better of the two options but had to be used very sparingly. A lot of my super tight leg issues have faded away recently and I can sleep without roasting my leg with heat and popping an anti-inflammatory. That is certainly progress.
