The older, but yet equally grumpy, child got her braces today. Le sigh. Goodbye money.

Anyone of you with children notice that your vacuum cleaner seems permanently parked in your dining room and kitchen? Having to vacuum multiple times a day is getting not fun.

My dining room was always on lino or wood floor so broom did the job. I dislike vacuuming and would never do it multiple times a day even if it was on carpet. I don't see a need to vacuum when it's going to get dirty again in a few hours. Once a day tops. Get a roomba.

Oh it is wood, carpets in a dining room with children or even humans just wouldn't be a smart idea. Maybe it is because it is such a central place in our house that it gets so dirty.

Vigorous game of Wrappers enthusiastically played, almost aerobic exercise man.

We went outside and beheld a crane, or some other long-necked waterfowl, see it man.

They usually hang around the manmade duck-ponds, usual man.

Sometimes, after monsoons, we see ducks et al. in the curbside puddles, enjoying it man.

Rare to see a solo one like this, weird man.

Maybe it is searching for a snack, in the form of the little froggies hopping around, ingest man.
