They were mostly running shoes when i was a kid. At the time i didjt really care. Almost everything i owned was 2nd hand minus underwear.

I know it's not the same, but little turtle gets a lotta hand me downs lol...

I've been busy.

Then I took a nap

Then made supper spaghetti and meatballs. Sauce and meat balls from scratch :D

Then I had to do shopping.

Then put the kids to bed.

Then I had to make the Tornado's lunch for school.

Now I'm sitting down getting ready to work again :P

Oh and I'm eating snack mix :D

Ive worn a lot of used shoes tbone. Im glad i no longer have to.

The chicas in the POTS office are routinely amazed at our sartorial excellence, gasp they man.

They are highly impressed at our good taste (which is not just in our mouth) and our financial acumen, acu man.

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Excitement, Monday man.

Mrs. T-B. called to say that the Mrs.-T-B.-mobile battery died, fortunately close to the casa man.

We left disappointed POTS customers to race to casa, speed man.

Dodged many infernal turtles during peak traffic to support Mrs. T-B., we for she man.

Reached casa exactly as AAA guy arrived, perfect timing man.

Supervised replacement of dead/wrong battery with brand-new/proper battery, see we man.

Mrs. T-B. happy, happy she man.

We poured sodium chloride on the removed vehicular product & then smacked it, get ready man...

...so that we could be accused of (drum roll man) a salty battery, ha haaaaa man.

I was going to pain the garage today, but the temperature is supposed to be near freezing tonight and the primer I'm using on one side is only good down to 50. It is 50 right now.

Nevermind it seems that the actual paint goes down to 35. Perfect. One side periwinkle it will be. I'm sure the neighbors are going to be overjoyed.
