That's pretty neat.

So kiddo needs serious orthodontic work done and we will be lucky if she doesn't need surgical work too. Estimated cost for phase 1: 3800 and that includes braces and something that I think is a Herbst appliance, that is if they can get her 6 year molars out on the bottom. Glad we went otherwise maybe about 6 or more impacted teeth.

You don't have to get her braces at 7 do you?

She has all her adult teeth?

My kid hasn't lost a single baby tooth yet

Yes, immediately, and some other weird device that will pull her lower jaw out once they dig out her 6 year molars (which won't be emerging on their own).

I thought the biggest issue was that she had 3 upper central incisors lined up next to each other for a period of time, but it isn't. Her lower jaw is way worse.

I'd say one of the warning signs was that her baby teeth came out late - it signaled an issued with her adult teeth not being able to penetrate the gum tissue.

You guys have dental insurance?

This woman tiff knows...

She has twin girls. Teeth real bad. But the orthodontist waited till they were 10?

Crappy dental insurance and the only orthodontists who take it are 5 hours away. It is free, so no complaints, but I wish it were better.

There were a ton of kids there today and not one of them looked older than 11 or 12. They said that they prefer to work on younger kids because the bones are still not fully formed and the outcomes are more successful. For less severe cases, maybe they wait for more of the adult teeth to be in at other places?

Aaah, this is what they are going to put in the back:

Oh yeah I've seen that...

There's no such a thing as non-crappy dental insurance. Be glad you have it.

These twins, their teeth were super bad, adult teeth overlapping baby teeth, growing every which way, etc...

Ah speaking of bad teeth, where's Niki...

Man I'm all burned out.

I'm gonna skip outta the office for next week, and get refreshed...

Then it's gonna be super busy.

Then I'll need another vacation.

Then it's hunting and fishing time again...

Oh ####### I forgot, The Moon Fest!
