Anyway, when the kids ask me what the Moon fest is all about.....

It's about 10 suns, an emperor, an archer, a general, a slutty queen, some lanterns, some salty eggs, a rabbit, and a cake.

It's about everything BUT the moon....

Winter nights? Never hearda it...

It is one of the holidays that has fallen out of mainstream favor I'm afraid. Around here, Midsummer is still widely celebrated, but the other ones not so much. Then again, so many of the things are integrated into Christmas, Easter, Halloween, and Thanksgiving that it is hard to have separate holidays.

De-curbsided the garbage can, domestic we man.

After dinner served by Tiff Mrs. T-B., should have taken a nap, need zzz man.

Instead, volunteered to go to Aldi, Mrs. T-B. had a list man.

Spent $Many (vs. $Many anywhere else), si man.

Put refrigeratable stuff away, then attempted nap, need zzz man.

However, too jacked-up to zzz, just lie there man.

Needed to dish the warsher, plan man.

However, Mrs. T-B. wanted to yak, yak she man.

The dialogue, see man:

Mrs. T-B.: Yak! Yak yak yak! Yak yak yak yak YAK!

T-B. [not listening]: Si, Carino.
