I remember they wanted me to have braces before I even had all my adult teeth. My mom was like uh no. I never did get them, but my teeth straightened out a lot better on their own than I'm sure the dentist ever though they would.

I should take a picture, but I think I'll save the poor girl her dignity, but this is probably what they'll look like soon:

My mother always complained that she didn't get her braces sooner than 16 or so. She had considerable issues with her front teeth.

Wednesday is the last full U.S. day for Mama-Mrs.-T-B. & Cousin-Mini-B., sigh man.

This last week has been so monsoonish that finding activities has been hard, sigh man.

They're probably ready to go home, but we are sad, sigh man.

Every time we are sent to the store to buy plantain, and it looks huger than usual, we can bet in advance that the stickers will say "Product of Ecu," si man.

The plantain from Mexico, Guatemala, et al. is puny in comparison, viva Ecu man.

Roofers are here. There's a bit of a break in the rain so they want to get some things started.

90% of our roof needs new decking.

I already knew that :P that is why they are here, I didn't want to do it!

Tornado is doing testing all week in school. She seems to like school so far, minus the massive meltdowns and night terrors at home after school. (it's more stressful then she lets on)

I'm hoping she keeps the teacher she has right now. She's not fake like the others.

I am so sick of this cold I have. I've been in bed since Friday night and I still have a fever and feel like #######. The kids got sick but only a fraction of how sick I am.

And I've been sick for the last two days.

My youngest nephew sold us some virus :lol:

My sister and I got it the worst (vomiting and diarrhea).

Peter (the middle nephew) and my dad got only the later one.

Gosh it was awful!!!

Las time I vomited was like ten years ago, when I celebrated my birthday too much :P

And now I got fever and was sweating like hell as well.

Had to take a day off yesterday and spent it in bed.

Thankfully it's all gone now :P
