Has anyone seen "The Riches" on FX? It airs Monday nights, and stars Eddie Izzard as a (American) con-man/gypsy dad married to (American) Minnnie Driver. They get in a car accident with a wealthy family and take over their identity.

It's pretty good, but definitely on the drama end of the drama/comedy spectrum.

Funnily enough, Eddie's youngest son, about aged 10, in the show, is a cross-dresser.

It only has aired twice so far, and seems pretty good.... worth a look anyway.... better than Hugh Laurie....

OH YEAH! luv it. I think it's funny that they got two brits to play the lead roles as an american couple. And it's just weird hearing Eddie talk like that all the time. With Minnie, she's played tons of american roles but it's a newer thing for him i think. All the same, i think it's a great show.

This thread should be in OT. I am completely in love with this show, but that could be because I love Eddie Izzard sooo much. The show is genius, and maybe one day Eddie will master an American accent, hee hee hee. Right now it's sort of "transatlantic."

Can't say this will be good press for the Irish Traveler population in the US, usually seen in the media beating their children in public or ripping people off with shoddy driveway paving jobs.

We love Eddie Izzard! My husband and son like "The Riches" a lot. I'm not too keen on the story line but I'll probably watch it now and then.

I just pre ordered the whole season on iTunes.

So far I've watched the first two. I am really enjoying it!

Thanks for posting the thread and sparking my interests...I don't have cable and haven't for years so I am never up to date on the new shows!
