Education evaluation

Hi all,

I have been working in the US for a few years now as a permanent resident.

Recently I applied to the school where I work, to study a graduate-level certificate program. As part of this, the university requires I go through World Education Services (http://www.wes.org/) to provide an evaluation of the degrees I studied for when in the United Kingdom.

Has anyone had any experience with World Education Services-WES, or any educational evaluation company like this? Thanks!

Not used them but when I was considering doing a similar thing I looked into them to see if they can evaluate my degree, most us institutions haven't heard of it as it is an integrated masters.

They hadn't heard of my degree type either and implied it would take longer to do the evaluation as the us doesnt have a direct like for like copy of it.

If you don't have an unusual degree type (MMus, MPhys, MEng, etc.) and you went to a well known university then it shouldn't take long?

I had my UK Bachelors degree/high school etc evaluated through ECE. A company exactly like WES but with better prices for what I wanted. They were awesome. Fast and efficient service and well worth it.

I also had it done so that I could study over here. Starting next month. Good luck!

I did mines with ECE, they did great and I haven't had any issue, I been to 3 different collages and no problem at all.
