For the CR-1 , there is no additional medical required right? Do we need the vaccination sheet or something that can be copied from the original medical. I recall this being discussed but for the life of me...........well u know.

Hubby had his medical today in London and we wanna call them for copies before they send the results out, if we need them.

For the cr-1 one only has to do the medical prior to the interview like anyone else. AFter the interview there are no more medicals or requirement for the needle booklet (unless for ur own personal using) I got ur back Cutienbergy

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

i cant believe no one knows this

For the CR-1 the medical must be complete... so yes, the vaccinations must be done at that time... I don't believe that you have to go back for another medical if it was done for a K-3 and it is still valid. If the vaccinations were complete at the time of the K-3 medical.. you need nothing further...

It would be better if you had them done for the original K3 medical... then you wouldn't have to go back...

Thanks Zyggy......

What made me wonder was this ....

If you're filing for AOS and you've had the medical for the k-3 then its still good and all you need is the vaccination supplement. I recall it being discussed about asking the Dr's office who did the medical for an additional copy of something .........I think it was the vaccination form or was it the entire med report? So I wasn't sure if the same applied if you return to the consulate for the CR-1.

anyway thanks again!!

My understanding is that in your situation, you need to get an extra copy of the entire report and that's all you need for the CR1 interview.
