Got the e-mail today, they did end up shipping it to Calgary. Anyone from Saskatoon, looks like they'll ship it to "Brick Plaza Calgary AB" (based off what they did for me, anyways). Time to book a flight to Calgary and then to Orlando!

Best regards,

If you do end up having to go to Calgary! Let her know that there's a really nice straight flight out from Calgary to Orlando on Saturday around 10am. That's what I ended up doing. But I was pretty lucky in that they sent it to me today, I can pick it up on a Friday afternoon, then stay at a hotel for a night. It is a lot of money that was unexpected! But hurrah for straight flights with no transfers when you're carrying a wedding dress around.

we have already scheduled the Canada post location , since that won't work now , do we have to register in purolator ?

I didn't register with purolator, but then I did have my interview before they notified us that Canada Post was going on strike. I'm being sent to Brick Plaza 4820 Northland DR NW Suite: 323 Calgary AB T2L2L4 CA. I swear it's one of the further ones from the airport (so also looking at a 200 or so cab fee right there).

No its not too far from the airport. It's still NW. At least it's not SW.

:P Maybe I'm just a bit biased since 25-30 minutes to an airport is a bit far compared to where I live. That's with no traffic! Especially when you're going to be paying for a cab. I had to deal with that in Vancouver and it was quite a bit of money there and back! That's the only part that frustrates me. I don't mind having to go to Calgary, but the money involved is an unexpected cost for most.

So after them saying they couldn't forward it, my husband drove the two hours to Toronto only to have them be on the verge of sending it out to where he is. If he had gotten there 10 minutes later, it would have already been sent.

Really disappointed with the purolator. He also said someone drove 4 hours to pick something up after being told online it was available to have it not be available.

Don't head out until you hear from Purolator. That's when you have the 5 days I believe. I just got my e-mail, I was issued and they just picked it up from Montreal to ship it to Calgary today.

Oh i agree. the lack of forwarding is ridiculous IMHO! But at least the pick up spot isn't on the SW side of town! That would be a very expensive cab ride.

If i still lived there I'd be ferrying people about.

Do they have uber up in Canada yet?

I'm not sure if they have uber up or not, I've never really had to look at it (because my city didn't have it, that I know of). :) But I fly out on Friday to pick it up and will let everyone know how it goes.

I didn't hear from Purolator for 5 business days after my visa was issued. One of them was a holiday, so I'd say wait 4 days and then start looking at who to call. You'll probably hear something on Monday or Tuesday.
