Canada Post Strike - packets coming from consulates ???

I didn't hear from Purolator for 5 business days after my visa was issued. One of them was a holiday, so I'd say wait 4 days and then start looking at who to call. You'll probably hear something on Monday or Tuesday.

ok thank you! ahh i'm just so nervous that they'll have not sent it or sent it to the wrong place. i can't believe i forgot to bring it up at the interview, and they didn't even mention it either

My Visa was just issued (This morning!) so I'll hopefully be hearing from the courier this soon. I'll let you know where I get sent!

I'm trying very hard not to lose my mind and going, "Okay! Gives me time to set things up and get packed and plan things." Just that mine got issued on Wednesday and I haven't heard anything about it,

I'm at the stage in my visa process where I should get my NOA2 within the month, then the process through the NVC and off to the consulate. I'm wondering if Canada Post DOES strike, will it affect the incoming petitions from the NVC? Hopefully since they've already made changes for approved petitions that means they've already considered the incoming mail from the US as well!

They use couriers, like DHL for the packets coming in.

Just picked mine up! Make sure you print off your e-mail so that they can see the number (or write it down). They'll need ID too, of course.
