I'm now in a shelter for domestic violence,...it's a long story I can't even start narrating,...I'm safe now,thought I will die. It's different for everyone for others it's smooth and for some of us it's hard

The biggest fight we've gotten into was over me spending 64 cents on water everyday and not drinking it. lol..

But, we also had almost 3 years of dating under our belt, he'd also come and stay for a week at a time every 2 months.

I think that helped us a lot, we don't need to get used to each other and he doesn't need to get used to the US. Him moving in felt natural.



Try to find something to do that makes ya'll feel like how you were dating again. For us, for reasons we can't figure out, it's bowling. We never bowled while we were dating, but it brings back that dating spark. We also go to restaurants that we only went too when he visited.

My wife and I have arguments every week, lol... It's part of marriage, and not really related to being a K-1. As some have already said, adjusting to a new environment and being away from loved ones that have been with you your whole life can have a significant effect.

It's not the amount of arguments that defines a relationship, it's the number of times you forgive, forget, and move on
