Admin processing for k1

Almost 2 months from now,still AP status.. interview approved on may 16th. Usem answered on my email saying still under review. Date is updating everydaywith the same AP status. Even we called everyday saying still processing. Is there any reason why its taking long?pls. Advice.. this is very stressful..

AP is either for security checks (you have a name similar to someone on a watch list, you are from a certain country), or for relationship reasons (they doubt you have a genuine one, and may conduct an investigation, go interview friends and neighbours etc).

How long does it takes?were so anxious.. any advice?how about personally following up to us embassy?

No one can tell you; it could be done tomorrow, it could be another few weeks, or even months. We have had people on here with 2+ years of AP, though that is rare. You can call the embassy (bets if the US citizen does it), but don't be too disappointed if they cannot tell you anything.
