Hi everyone,

My fiancé and I just received our NOA 2 for the K-1 on June 20th. My fiancé (the beneficiary) is moving next week. Where/when do we change his address? I have heard that we should contact the NVC as soon as possible, while others have waited until their petition has gotten to the embassy. I'm not sure which route to follow.

Thanks!

For a K1 change this on the DS-160. You can't change a foreign address with the USCIS. Also no matter what the beneficiary will interview in Montreal.

Beneficary. Petitioner doesn't need packet 3. You can also DL packet 3 and send it to them as soon as your CEAC status says "ready" which means the case is in Montreal.

~~moved to US consulate and embassy discussion from NVC since K1 only get a case number from NVC and the packet 3 is sent to the consulate or embassy~~
