Need I-551 stamp to travel; no appointments in Tampa office

Hello! Wife and kids got approved for their green cards recently. However, we realized that USCIS made a mistake on wife's green card by puttig wrong date of birth. We filled out an I-90 as instructed as well as mailing back the green card wth wrong birthdate. USCIS got my wife an appointment in Tampa office to get biometrics done, at no cost to us since it was USCIS mistake. Later, we discovered it will take over 7 months to get a new one. We want to be able to go to Canada in the middle of July, so we tried to get an INFOPASS appointment in Tampa to see if we can get an i-551 stamp in wife's passport. However, its almost next to impossible to get an appointment in Tampa, no matter what time of the day I tried. I even tried at midnight, early in morning, 3 pm, 5 pm, 6 pm, 7 pm, 9 pm,,......all to no avail. When i booked in Orlando, got appointment instantly. My question is, will Orlando office turn us away being that we live in Tampa? has anyone been through this experience in Tampa?

Thank God! Took some persistence and patience,.......but was finally able to schedule an appointment in the Tampa office. I got in around 2 p.m., and it had a bunch of appointments available. Now we don't have to drive 1 1/2 hours to Orlando and back to solve this issue. Yessss!!! Will keep updated about the stamp!
