Hello everyone, it's me again.

Can someone please have a look at the docs I am bringing with me to the interview? I know I already made a post but I just can't stop panicking and thinking I've left something out!

Here's my DS-160 Confirmation:

I am so confused!!! every time I start to feel confident that I have everything I read something that confuses me even more lol :(

Am I missing anything glaringly obvious in terms of confirmation from them? I have my passport, pics, evidence, letter of intent, all the financial info etc.

Also, I don't remember paying for Canada Post courier separately. Was I supposed to? Where would I find confirmation of that? I have already selected a location so does that mean it's fine? AGH

Someone help! I feel like I'm losing my freaking mind :(

I'll answer the first bit that I know you were worried about! The very last picture you linked is the one I used as a confirmation to get into the consulate. However I did bring all the rest too just in case.

For the Canada Post, there should be a link stating a canada post area that you can pick your passport up at. Or you can pay $20 for it to be dropped off at your home (although you have to be there to sign for it). I'll take a look through your links again in a moment as I'm on my phone.

I have the Canada post branch already selected! I remember selecting it when I scheduled my interview. Does that mean it's fine and paid for or should I pay elsewhere?

That should be it for Canada post. I also signed up on the Canada Post website as well (because you had to for Loomis, I wasn't sure about canada post. Fiance says they asked someone there to sin up for it, but I never got asked Sooo. ..)

I would say to bring it all and have everything in the front part of your folder. You seem to have everything so it should be fine!

They asked someone to sign up for it once you were actually in the interview part?

So was your courier Loomis?

I am kind of regretting signing up with Canada Post now that I hear they're maybe going on strike. Terrified my visa will get lost in transit :(

How relieved are you to have all of this over with! I absolutely can't wait to just be done.

Also PS I meant to ask ... when you go first thing in the morning (my appointment is the same time as yours), where do you line up? like at the front door or? I'm honestly prepared to get there at like 5:30 AM lol

Upon reading some other reviews of interview experiences I guess I am still a little confused as to what Loomis even is. Is this something I should have signed up for? Or is Canada Post all I have to worry about?

My interview is in a few weeks and I'm finding these topics helpful because they're making me check and re-check my documents, haha. I'm still a little stressed out about the fact that I never got that last confirmation email. I have all of the other Yatri emails, and I printed off the confirmation of my interview and payment from the site, but I'd feel better if I'd gotten that one. I've tried logging on to email the confirmation to me multiple times since I scheduled everything and every time it tells me that there was an error and they're looking into it. It just seems to be flat-out refusing to send me that email.

I honestly think you can use the email or just print off the confirmation page. I'm pretty sure they just want to confirm your interview date, number, name, and that you paid.

OP, you line up right there at the door, on the sidewalk. I seem to recall that they won't allow people to get in line before 0700...there have been people who have arrived at 0600 so they can be first, and are told to go away until 0700. The worst that can happen is that you have to wait longer, but as long as you're there before your appointment time, they won't turn you away or anything.

Of course I understand the nerves and the waiting and everything, but there's a limit to what will go wrong at that point!

Read a couple of the reviews for Montreal linked at the top (from Portals), then you'll feel like you know where you're going and how things will go :)

Well you don't have to worry about Canada Post. Got an email today that they are going to use a Purolator for your documents.

I got that e-mail as well! I wonder if I will end up having to pay for that. They said not to change anything and that it would default to my closest drop off place and the interviewer would discuss it with me. Assuming I should bring my credit card with me to the interview lol.
