Hi All

I am about to start the K1 process (I am the Australian, he is the USC) and I have a couple of questions:

- I-129F asks for all US entry dates. I entered on a J1 visa in 2005, leaving in 2006 within 3 months after working. I don't have a copy of this visa or my entry dates as I had to surrender my old Australian passport. I had it replaced as it was damaged before it expired and I paid for a new one. I don't have my employment records either (i emailed the employer, but as it's 12 years ago I don't expect a reply). Do you foresee any problems with not having this passport/copies of the visa and entry stamps?

- when I was a J1 i got a social security card. Is that still valid to quote in my forms? It was 12 years ago that I had the J1.

- the remaining US visa and entry stamps are in my old German passport, as I am a dual citizen. I will present all copies, but I am filing as an Australian. Any problems with that?

- I plan to file in Australia (with my mothers' address which is also on my drivers' licence), but I am currently working in Thailand. I currently have work in Thailand until the end of the year, but I am uncertain whether I would be in Thailand or Australia when the documents are forwarded to the US consulate overseas. In case I am still in Thailand, I would fly to Australia to complete the paperwork/interview. This should be fine with my employer - do you foresee any issues with filing in Australia even though I'm currently residing in Thailand? In case I don't have work in Thailand later, I also won't keep my current mailing address, so Australia is the more logical choice.

Thanks in advance for all your replies!!
