Aug. 18,06 passed the colorado driving test

Sept. 28,06 got my own car

Aug. 28,12 7th year wedding anniversary

July 11,2011 became a Citizen of US

About a week -- you are really close!

09-02-2005 Applications for AOS, EAD, and AP received by MSC

10-21-2005 AOS fingerprint notice for 12-08-2005

11-07-2005 AP approved

12-05-2005 Infopass appt at San Jose office for interim EAD -- Refused, because it is already approved by MSC on 11-07-2005

12-07-2005 Attempt at interim EAD at San Francisco office -- no go. Back to San Jose, where CSO (chief station officer) tells they will contact MSC via email to request permission to issue interim EAD

12-08-2005 Biometrics for AOS and EAD. Having no EAD appt letter was no problem (used EAD NOA)

12-15-2005 EAD arrived in the mail

12-24-2005 Received interview letter; interview scheduled 03-01-2006

01-28-2006 Received replacement SSN card in married name (5 wks since application)

03-01-2006 AOS interview -- approved; received stamp in the passport

03-13-2006 Green card arrived in the mail

I think each case is unique. I was approved with a stamp in Newark on Feb 28th and I still haven't recieved a welcome letter nor the green card, neither has my case been touch since December 6th. For the people that have recieved there cards, does the I130 ever get approved or touched etc?

09-26-05 Mailed AOS/EAD/130

12-23-05 Recieve Notice of Interview for 02-28-06 (77 days total)

02-28-06 AOS interview APPROVED stamp in passport (138 days total)

03-24-06 Welcome to America letter arrives.

03-28-06 Green Card Arrives error free

Removal of Conditions

12-01-07 Mailed I751 to VT (day 1)

11-13-08....Card Production Ordered (day 358)

N-400

03-16-2011 Mailed to Lewisville lockbox

03-17-2011 NOA date

03-23-2011 Check Cashed

To answer your question, my I-130 did not get updated since 09/24/2005 (I filed I-130 and I-485 together). I don't think I-130s get updated at all.

02/17/2006 received my social security number

03/10/2006 We Got Married!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

04/19/2006 Sent in AOS & EAD papers

04/27/2006 Touched for AOS & EAD

05/11/2006 Biometrics for AOS & EAD[/color]

06/07/2006 Received AOS appointment letter (july 14th 06)

07/07/2006 Recieved EAD

07/14/06 AOS APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!! All in less than 3 months (that's unbeleivable)

4/21/08 Filed I-751

4/26/08 Check cashed

4/28/08 NOA received

5/16/08 Attended Biometrics

9/12/08 Green Card arrived in mail :-)

Well I got home last night and there was my "Welcome to America" letter ! :D

But now im confused because I checked the case status again today and its changed from them saying Ive been approved and that theyve ordered me a greencard to ...

"This case has been approved. On March 17, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address."

What do they mean by an approval notice was sent today? Cud that possibly be the greencard?? Or is there another letter after the welcome to america letter?

Im just anxious cus we're trying to fit a trip in back home before my husband starts his new job on april 17th.. hehe cutting it fine ! :P
