27 June 2005 - Sent package off to Chicago lockbox.
28 June 2005 - Package received at Chicago lockbox.
11 July 2005 - RFE: cheques inappropriately placed.
18 July 2005 - NOA 1: I-485, I-131, I-765 received!
19 July 2005 - NOA 1: I-130 received!
24 August 2005 - Biometrics appointment (Naperville, IL).
25 August 2005 - AOS touched.
29 August 2005 - AP, EAD, I-485 touched.
15 September 2005 - AP and EAD approved!
03 February 2006 - SSN arrives (150 days later)
27 February 2006 - NOA 2: Interview for 27 April!!
27 April 2006 - AOS Interview, approved after 10 minutes!
19 May 2006 - 2 year conditional green card.
01 May 2008 - 10 year green card arrives.
09 December 2012 - Assembled N-400 package.
15 January 2013 - Sent package off to Phoenix.
28 January 2013 - RFE: signature missing.
06 February 2013 - NOA 1: N-400 received!
27 February 2013 - Biometrics appointment (Detroit, MI).
01 April 2013 - NOA 2: Interview assigned.

15 May 2013 - Naturalization Interview, approved after 15 minutes.

10 June 2013 - Naturalized.

Texas Service Centre took 3 weeks or so to send mine, take a look at their current processing dates.

Edited to add: it looks like they are slow right now-- currently at Jan 9, 2006 -- so about 3 months behind. If you didn't get a stamp at your interview, I'd go get one.

You'll get one (or more) Welcome to America letters first, and then your online status will change again, then your card will soon be there!

oh no ! what does the stamp do - will it allow me to leave the country?

i went through the DORA programme though, I thought they tried to get it all done within 90 days... my interview was december 15th, so if they count the days from the interview I guess it made 90 days yesterday (the date of my approval).

The case status says

"On March 15, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

Do you mean the case status will change from that?

In the past, it took AGES to get the actual green card after approval, so your passport would be stamped to indicate that the AOS was approved and the holder of the passport was now considered a permanent resident (with conditions). Now, with the service centres moving a bit more quickly, some district offices don't stamp anymore. If you plan on travelling anytime soon, I'd go get it.

I can't remember what the exact online messages were for me, but I do remember this: there was an approval notice, then in the mail I received 5 Welcome to America letters, then the message changed, and the next day the card was in my mailbox. :)

MMM. wait. I think it was the ""On XXX-XXXXXXX, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready." message first. Then the letters. Then the "your green card is now in the mail" message.

...And you made in 90 days, DORA rocks!!! :thumbs:

I can tell you my timeline, maybe it could help...I had my DORA interview on 9/08, my case was approved on 11/30 (after 84 days) and the e-mail approval I got said:

"This case has been approved. On 12/06/2005, an approval notice was mailed."

My message never changed after that (it's still the same today, I just checked :P ), but I received my "Welcome Letter" on 12/05 and the actual GC showed up just a few days later...and it was really mailed on 12/06, just like the e-mail said.
