my fiance only speaks Russian. Should he write his letter of intent in Russian then have it translated to English? Or can I write one for him in English and verbally translate it for him?

Honestly my fiancee did it in spanish i had translated to english.

He needs to sign so i would think but i could be wrong if you dont understand it how can you sign it.

If you can have him write in russian and have it translated by a compentant certified translator. You should.

It is just a statement, not a legal document. It can be written in English. You just need to tell him what it says before he signs it. He needs to know what he is signing off on.

English only. Send him one to just sign.
