I 684 question about taxes

Hello, my wife is filling as my sponsor during my AOS from F1 to green card through marriage, and I have a question about tax documents to include. She currently makes enough on last year's tax return to qualify, so we wanted to simply include her Federal Tax return (1040 form, 2210 form, 8962 form, and 8965), along with her W2's and 1099.

However I've also read that you might also need your IRS transcript when filling for the I 864. Is it really necessary, and important? Or is it redundant?

She has the option of submitting either her entire federal tax return + W2s OR the IRS tax transcript.

If you submit the tax transcript then including the W2s isn't necessary and since it's a much more smaller document, most people usually provide the tax transcript.

I will recommend sending the tax transcripts : easy to get, arrives within a few days and much more cleaner than sending in your W2s and entire tax documents.
