What Is the Strangest Unusual Food You Have Tried

Chicken gizzards and livers arent unusual for this area.

They're unusual where I'm from! Stomach/intestines aren't unusual in some communities in the south. I think that's "chittlins". But damn unusual for me.

Tripe is quite common where I am in Boston and was served often when I was growing up. Can't say I'm a huge fan.

Snail is about as odd as is gets. And that was just once, just to try. I don't get the attraction. I do enjoy raw red meat, however.

finally somthing we can agree on! but the fermented shark in Iceland was awful! maybe worse than sea urchin!

It was on purpose. We had some raw and some cooked. I couldn't do the raw one but deep fried they are nasty.

Forgot to add, we also made alcohol in this class. White lightning, LOL! That was some nasty stuff too. I'm not really sure how the teacher explained that on his lesson plans.

I have had kangaroo & gator in Ausralia, wild game at the Carnivore in Africa, even Horse sashimi in Japan.
