Hello again friends,

I'm getting ready to send everything out to the Texas lockbox this week and getting everything rolling!

It's clear from the forum that I should make two identical copies of my I-129f package before mailing it to Texas. My questions are mainly about what I understand to be recommended for the 129f package versus what is taken to the interview. Questions below:

-- forum suggests about 5 photos with names , date, and location written on the back but then I'm reading about suitcases worth of proof of the ongoing relationship being taken to the interview. Is the I-129F package a paired down version of what one should take to the interview in terms of photo evidence? 5ish photos is good for the package and then bring the kitchen sink to the interview?

-- same question but in regards to correspondence. I'm reading about thousands of pages of documentation taken to the interview but the forum suggests only a couple of examples of each type of communication (Skype, email, etc.) that span the length of the relationship. Again, is the package a paired-down version of what should be taken to the interview?

--should the printouts of online conversations be complete for each conversation or does it really matter? 100 pages about what each of us did for the day, what we ate for lunch and how much we miss each other or is a page or two from each conversation alright? :content: (100 page is a joke in case you didn't get it)

--I read somewhere (can't remember where) about specific types of folders, paperclip location, and every other obsessive and specific stationary variation that's preferable. If this matters, can someone be so kind as to post or PM a picture of their folder arrangement? Or maybe send me a link for this if I missed it?

--Lastly, I mail my fiancé one of the exact copies of the 129f package for her to take to the interview. What do I do with the second copy?

Thanks in advance friends! Only all of you know my excitement and impatience with this whole process.

First of all. The copies are for your reference, so that you both can check 100% what was sent. This might come in hand if you later get an RFE for something.

Secondly, DO NOT bother with fancy folders , binders, clippers or whatever. Just put all the documents in the right order and slip them into the envelope. This makes the job of the CO much easier (he/she has to scan every page).

Depending on country, some couples choose to frontload their petition with everything but the kitchen sink in terms of evidence. This is not needed to get the petition approved (only evidence of having met once in person is needed for that), but will make it easier to be approved for the visa at the consulate. It's up to you. Check out your regional forum for what people usually do.

You do not need the full conversations, but make sure they are in English or translated if you choose to include them (as part of frontlading).

Good luck!

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

skype chat log, emails, or any correspondents send about 10 pages for each type type during your time span, Use 3-month period method and front-load mail in petition. Print both sides to reduce your load. I used staples to bind them up for skype log, emails, phone logs. I put pics on A4 papers, 2 on each side and write description (date and what) about each pics (about 20 piccs). Last, I put everything in order with a coversheet listed what you had.

Hello everyone!

I have worked in Vietnam for 10 months. My fiance and I are applying for K1 Visa and I'm now back in the Philippines. How do I get a police clearance without going back to Vietnam?

I appreciate all your prompt response. Thank you in advance!
