My wife went to Guanghzhou with her mother for her visa interview on May 26th. She said everything went well but her mother was told to wait 6-8 weeks for her visa, thatit had something to do with the physical she had taken prior to her interview. That is about all the information I have. I was just wondering if anyone else has encountered that. They didnt tell her that anything was wrong so Im not sure why the delay. Thanks to anyone who can help.

There was a issue with my mom-in-laws physical. I think she fail the tuberculosis test. She told medicine for it. This was before the interview. She pass the interview. Sent an email to Guangzhou consulate why the delay.

IR-5 for wife's parents:
3-24-2014: I-130 approved
4-08-2014: USCIS sent to NVC
5-07-2014: Case recieved at NVC
5-15-2014: Case number & IIN Assigned
5-21-2014: Completed DS-261
5-22-2014: Sent ENROLL EP email
5-27-2014: Sent AOS through EP
6-14-2014: Case number change from GUZ to GZO

7-04-2014: Sent DS-260 fee

7-07-2014: Sent Civil Documents

7-08-2014: Completed DS-260

8-27-2014: Case COMPLETE! YES!...YES!...YES! :joy::thumbs::dance:
