Beyond livid....Case still in California and was approved April 7th

Seriously, I have no words. I am beyond livid that they can approve a case and just leave it to collect dust.

If I did my job like this I would be fired. How can you get so many different answers from different people?

My validity dates are April 7 - August 6.

Today I was told my case was still in California, even after my call on June 1 when they told me my case was closed and could tell me nothing more.

Today I was told that was not true, they just need to look.

Today the Officer told me he sent a request to expedite the file, there was no reason for it to still be there.

So now I have to wait another 10 days to see if they finally do their job.

It just seems like me requesting information pissed someone off to freeze the file like I was warned on May 23... (mind you that was the first request)

Enough said... I do hope soon to finally come with good news!

So sorry that you have to go through this, I can understand how helpless you are feeling right now.

Maybe the expidite will push it out to the NVC.

When you call the service center, did you ask to speak to a supervisor/tier 2 officer?

They can probably do more than the first person you're connected to when you call.

Thank you!

Yes, always a tier 2 officer...

It just amazes me that each always have a different answer.
