Should I Hire Someone to fill-out I-864 Doc and packets for NVC

Hi Fellow VJ's:

Yesterday my I-130 for my husband & step-daughter were approved. I am now preparing for the next step of NVC.

I have been told that I should hire someone to complete the I-864 doc and the packet requested. Am I being silly to think I can complete this on my own or should I in fact hire someone to fill it out. They are charging me $250.00 per person. $500.00 is a lot of money to put out there, if this is doable on my end. I make enough to sponsor both of them on my own.

Looking for feedback...

Do it yourself.

This is a DIY website. There is no need for a lawyer unless there are red flags or you don't like to read and follow directions.

The I-864 is about your financials. Hard for someone to fill in the I-864 without your input.

Most people on this website prepare it on their own and do just fine.

Yeah what everyone said. Do it yourself. I know it will be a headache from time to time but take the instructions packet section by section. Good luck!
