This whole NVC processing is so tricky. Can anyone clarify from experience about email processing. I understand that the NVC website says to send documents in ONE package and to keep attachments below 5mb. Dores that mean 5mb for entire email or for each file? Thank you so much. It's so confusing

I received an RFE for the AOS form, apparently they didn't get it. All I can figure is because I sent it as a file (under 5mb) they didn't get it. When I resent it, I attached each page separately (about 15 attachments in all) and they accepted it that time. So I would suggest attaching every page that you are emailing as a single attachment with the correct cover sheets preceding AOS & IV documents. Hope that made sense :)

That WiKi is confusing because the NVC website says clearly ONE package but I've read in other forums people sending two emails, some people saying as long as it's under 25mb. It just seems difficult to get everything under 5mb. How big was your original e-mail?

The 2 email thLing was merely the solution to excessive sized attachment. Our document size was almost 9 MB after compression. What I did was preparing 2 emails(one AOS one civil documents) and send them almost SIMULTANEOUSLY so they don't get mixed up with other cases. Make sure you write the case number on headline for both emails. On the other hand, if you could downsize all document into 5 MB, I'd recommend you to send in one.

I did EP for Rio. I scanned each individual page and attached each one to the Email. Had no problem at all. Each attachment under 5MB.

Hope that helps

Were your 15 attachments totaling over 5MB in size? If yes, was there an issue with NVC receiving an email with a large file size?

From what I can remember they were under the 5MB, I didn't really take much notice to be honest, all I know is that they received all documents second time round.

When you submitted all your documents through EP, how long did it take for you to receive a confirmation email from NVC saying they have received your document? Did you have to call or was an email sent?

Thanks
