Hi Everyone,

I am filing the CR1 visa for my wife. Our household is only 2 people (me and her). I only made $8000 in 2015 so therefor need a joint sponsor. My father makes enough to sponsor her. He is single and have no dependents. We live at the same address. So my question is: Do I fill out a I-864 and he fill out a I-864A and we should be all set?

Unless you are financially tied (he claimed you on taxes since you made so little), he should fill in his own I-864.
