approved yesterday and case has been sent to NVC.

 

now that the case has been sent to NVC, what are the next steps?

 

ive been told to send a declaration via email but im not sure where or what i am declaring.  i have not received anything in the mail as yet.  i received an approval message from the USCIS app.

 

is there another thread just for NVC filers?

Just an update. Our I-130 has been approved; received the notice through the mail and not through the app or email.

Our timeline is:

 

PD: 09/30/16

Transferred from Nebraska to Texas Service Center: 02/22/17

NOA2: 04/14/17

Hello to all I-130 Filers.

 

1) Just received NOA1 on May 10, 2017. When I entered the case number on USCIS Case Status, it says error. 

 

2) How fast is the processing of I-130? Is it 4 or 5 months?

I would give it a few days. The website takes some time to update.

 

We filed on September 30, our NOA1 date was 10/04/16, transferred to TSC on 2/22/17 and approved on 04/14/17. 

 

So, 6.5 months. However other I-130 petitions were approved sooner.

Hi everyone wanted a little help. We received our receipt for our I-130, September 2017. We are based in California. Me my wife and my son. My wife is the only one who is not a US citizen. Her b1 visa expires this October. Can she wait here while we wait for the I-130? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I currently hurt my knee and am awaiting surgery and need help taking care of my son
