Hi VJers!

I searched the forums and couldn't find any up to date Texas Service Center threads. Anyone sent to Texas Service Center in 2016? It feels like they are processing cases in good time (based off timelines), but just wanted to get a better idea of how Texas is doing :). I'm a May/June filer, sent my packet/USCIS received end of May, but NOA1 is from June. Good luck everyone!

Hi Mrs. Wild,

I too am a TSC I-130 2016 filer.I out in our stuff in beginning of April. Last, I heard my file was with an agent. It's a bit nerve racking when you see people's timelines showing approvals in 2months and you wonder did this fill it out wrong? Hang in there. It will happen.

It looks like your petition was approved? Congratulations!!! Hopefully Texas keeps moving quickly :)

I've only been waiting for less than a month, but hadn't seen very much about the Texas Service Center recently. It seems like most people in the last few months were sent to Nebraska.

Yes, the approval came in this morning... It's such a great feeling to know you're that much closer to being with your husband and daughter.

I'm over the moon.

Yay! Welcome transferred people :D. I hope this means your files get processed quickly. Texas has been going pretty quickly and mostly in order. It's been a lot easier to track than what I hear of Nebraska. Right now, it appears Texas is processing the first week of June.

I hope they jump to your files and process them first. Nebraska is really backed up, so either way it'll probably be faster.

We got the text alert on 8/1 that we were being transferred from Nebraska. Our pd is 4/22. We haven't been notified yet where it was transferred to, but my fingers are crossed for Texas!

Hey, JOAE! Question for you. Did your case number change? I was wondering about the first three letters of the case number. Wouldn't they have to change with it switching centers?

The first 3 letters should not change. That way they know its a transferred case and know your priority date.
