Dont know what its taking so long for approval.

Pass civic questions back in April. Finger printed in March.

They only gave a letter saying a decision will be sent about your application, blah blah...

what should i do?

I don't know the details of your case so I can't guess what the issue is.

Such delays are usually caused by quotations related to your eligibility. Not living with your spouse, prior arrests, switching jobs shortly after acquiring an employment-based green card, not providing sufficient documentation can all lead to eligibility questions. In rare cases, applicants are interviewed before a background check is completed. In other cases, applicants leave information off their application than then has to go through more checks after the interview (example: forgetting to list a previously-used name).

They have 120 days to make a decision. They sometimes go beyond that, but they're not supposed to according to the law (not USCIS regulations). If you haven't called them, give them a call, but expect that you may be given a standard answer. If it's been more than 6 months since you applied, try an online service request, but sometimes you have to wait 8 months before the system let's you do this. Finally, when it's been more than 120 days since the interview, schedule an Infopass appointment. That's my advice. You can set an appointment for next week if you want, and it might help, but there's a good chance they'll just tell you to wait. If it's easy for you to visit them, go ahead and do it. If not, call them.
