My real concerns with him are Big Pharma and Wall Street.

Of course Hillary is in bed with them more than anyone ever and crooked as a snake

and Trump is a stark raving lunatic

Closest to my opinions with few exceptions(mainly security and immigration, foreign policy and health care)...however, he'll never sit.

I've always considered myself about 80% libertarian and took notice of Gary the last time that he ran, but, I think regardless of whether or not people thought he had a shot, libertarianism is just not mainstream enough. People on the left will disagree with him about his economic/health care free market views, and some on the right will disagree with him socially(drugs, prisons, death penalty, gay marriage, etc) and where national security and foreign policy is concerned. So while it's a win win for people like us it's a lose lose for him where most people's views are(which is usually either fully to the right or fully to the left). That's why he doesn't have much support in the polls to begin with in my view and not the other way around in this case. It has been growing steadily, just not fast enough for it to be him. Maybe someone else some day down the line.

Most people do not identify with a view that is fully left or fully right. The majority of people identify with a view that is left/middle or right/middle. The fully left or fully right people are the fringe voters and there aren't nearly as many who identify as such.

Very few real middle of the road guys like me. A few far right guys in here but most are Muddy ditch left.

You are not a middle of the road guy, you are right/middle. As you say my view on guns is probably what makes me left/middle. Everyone has a different skew on the issues and hardly anyone stays consistent across the board with everything.

You are not a middle of the road guy, you are right/middle. As you say my view on guns is probably what makes me left/middle. Everyone has a different skew on the issues and hardly anyone stays consistent across the board with everything.

While I do enjoy many libertarian ideals, some of the ideas Johnson has are so unrealistic and not 'moderate' enough for me. I would support him 100% on homeland security, diplomacy, immigration, civil liberties, government waste, and many other issues... if he didn't fall so flat on the rest.
