Hi Friends,

I got mail notice from USCIS saying that i-864 form was not submitted by the petisioner/sponror.

My mother is retired and she never worked for long time and I put my sister as a sponsor, If my mother never worked how am I going to get her tax return documents?

I am the applicant through F2B petition and my priority date is current.

and My other question is will this affect my EAD processing time?

Please help with any experience or knowledge I got frustrated.

Thanks

hi

that doesn't matter, the petitioner is ALWAYS the primary sponsor and MUST submit an i864 even if he or she makes $0 income

she should have attached a letter form social security or wherever she gets her income and a written letter explaining why she isn't required to file taxes

your sister would be her joint sponsor, not the sponsor

have you been legally in the country all these years? if not, you can't adjust status in the US

Hey Aleful thanks for the response and sharing your knowledge, I am legally in the US on F1 Visa doing my masters, I will be graduating after a month and do I have to leave the country after I graduated?

She doesn't have any income and she is dependent on my sister, how is she going to prove that she doesn't work?

Thanks

She does not have to prove it, just state it.

Hi Good People, any idea about my EAD? I have separate receipt for it? Do u think this process will delay it? Because my F1 Student will expire first of August.

Everything stops until RFE response is received.
