Hi guys. So long story short, we received a Request for Evidence letter for our I-751 petition. A month later (took a while to gather everything) we sent it (overnight delivery) through UPS to the Vermont Service Center. It was delivered on June 6th, 2016. Welp, so far we have received zero notice that our RFE was received by the service center, and our online case status hasn't been updated since we FIRST sent our petition in July 2015. We tried calling USCIS, but they won't even help us until it has been at least 60 days. How are we supposed to even know that they have the package?

My question is, how long did it take before you heard ANYTHING about your RFE? All we have to go on is that the package was delivered and signed for.

Thank you so much in advance, we are very nervous that it is lost!

From my recollection no one receives a notice about the arrival/acceptance of their RFE. You just have to be patient. :)

So, Jess, if you sent it overnight, at least you know that it was delivered, right? Many peoples' online status never shows a change - so it's not reliable.

I'm sure you'll be all right - but it will just take some deep breathing to get through the waiting!

Good luck!

It took us just over a month to get notification that we were approved after they received our RFE. Before that notification we had not heard anything.

Other people were approved within a week or two. Hopefully you hear sooner rather than later.

Good luck!

Very likely the people who got quick response were approved right same service center. Who were waiting longer for sure docs were sent to local office to further processing because original one refused to approve, and the local office already making decision or approve or interview...worse if name checks are yet running could be much longer even after that.
