Hello everyone

Hi, you've replied to two really old posts so the people you've quoted aren't likely to see your comment. Did you have any questions anybody can help with?

Hi did you get yours yet? We are almost at the 60 day mark.

When did you pay your green card fee? And what does your online status say?

Hi !
entered US on July 19,2024. Paid fee on aug 1, 2024. When I check case status it says fee was received. It’s been more than 120 days so I contacted uscis. The officer told me that they will get back to me within 30 days. It’s so irritating. What to do?

How did you contact USCIS? Did you fill in the form? https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDCForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndc

If so, that's all you can do for now until they get back to you.

I called them on 1800-375-5283 and talked to the officer. I also filed Os-155a form. I also have a reference number. It says they will contact me within 30 days. Fingers crossed

You spoke to a call centre agent (that will probably be pretty useless), not an officer. But the form is what you needed so hopefully that will get you sorted.

My daughter’s card didn’t turn up either, turned out her photo needed to be redone as it wasn’t good enough, so she had to go and do that. Hopefully it will be something equally simple for you.

Good luck.

I hope so I hear something within 30 days as I wanted to travel out of country to meet my parents. Please let me know if there is something I can do to get my GC early

You don't need your green card to do that, your endorsed visa in your passport acts as a temporary green card for the first year anyway. So you don't need it until July next year.

Thanks !
My OS-155a has been approved and card is being produced today. So will receive it soon 😊
