Since we hit the 90-day mark today with no signs of progress, we went ahead and filed online status inquires.  Not that I expect anything to come of it, but the canned auto-response promised “USCIS will review and process the request.  Expect a reply by February 15, 2022”.  Realistically, I figure by then either the cards will have arrived naturally, or else they would tell us to wait a bit longer.

It’s been 90 days since entry in the US and more than 90 days for fees being paid for green card. I called USCIS because dad’s green card hasn’t arrived yet and they created a case for that and escalated it to immigration officer then they gave us a long case number. Any idea how it actually takes to get an update as they said 30 days but isn’t that too long after waiting 90 days. Please share your experience and many thanks.

@Fr3edom21 thank you for the input. I have tried everything to get in touch with USCIS via the Contact Center page, but it is proving difficult to raise my issue because I can't get in touch with anyone directly, nor can I file an inquiry because I don't know what the case number is per this screenshot attached because we haven't received further notice or documents after immigration and we haven't received a welcome packet. Any further advice? Thanks so much.

There will be no welcome packet.  The case number is the IOE number of the receipt for the immigrant fee payment.  You already paid the $220 fee and got the email with the IOE number, right?

@Chancy thanks for the reply, much appreciated. Yes we've paid the immigration fee and have our IOE numbers. I was talking specifically about the form number they require: we don't have records of any of these form numbers in the screenshot attached

Select "OS155A".  Then enter the IOE number for the immigrant fee receipt.

Ohhhh.  This is exciting!!!!   Something happened today!!!  😁😁 For both my wife and stepdaughter.  So we are a week past 90 days from POE and also a week after making a status inquiry.  I suspect it is just finally processing as the backlog ran it's course, rather than as a result of the inquiry but we are happy to see some movement however it happened.

  I put the date of entry.  I assume the OS155A was "filed" at the port of entry.

Thanks for the response , there is a date shown in your uscis accont / in your Cases page ,   ( Submitted on October 4, 2021Receipt # IOEXXXXXXXX) I think this date suppose to be filled , regards

USPS is on the ball with Informed Delivery texting tracking numbers.  No tracking numbers from USCIS yet.  USPS says shipping from Kansas City.
