Hey guys I have an update/tip,

If you have been waiting a reasonable amount of time (lets say 90+ days) please send USCIS a message through your account. Explain your situation nicely and ask if there’s a problem with your case etc.

I sent them a message last Friday explaining that my POE was August 1st and 94 days later there has been no change in my status. They replied on Monday stating that the status is now “application received”. Today it changed to card being produced. So fingers crossed!

My update

Fee paid: 13th September 2019

POE: Dallas TX, 20th October 2019 (With immigrant packet)

SSN Received in mail: 29th October 2019

Current GC status: Immigrant Visa Fee Payment Received

Hey guys this is my final update

11th November - Card is in production

13th November - Card has been mailed. No tracking number has been provided so I contacted USCIS who informed me that the number has not been generated yet.

14th November - Status updated to Card has been mailed but this time with a tracking number  was included in the message.

15th November - Card received in the mail.

Overall it took a total of 26 days after POE

All the best to those still waiting for their cards, it can really be nerve wrecking checking for updates daily even with email and sms alerts setup.

Hi guys

Just have a question,  my case now is "Card is being produced" since Nov/15th , Does anyone know how long it take them to mail it to me ? and is my status going to change when they mail it or i will just receive it without any online update?

Thanks

Yes they will, they will even give you a notice that USPS picked up ur card with a tracking number. I’ve been waiting for mine to be delivered since the 14th.

I am trying to get a greencard for my spouse. I am not sure where to start. Can someone please guide me on what are the first steps for filing to obtain a greencard?

The instructions are with the passport when it is returned.  According to your timeline, have they interviewed yet?

Yesterday my wife’s status changed:
https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do
I have - Immigrant Visa Fee Payment Received
My Wife - Card Is Being Produced
https://my.uscis.gov/
I have - The case date was updated on December 2
My wife - The case date was updated on December 2
Is it possible that my card is also issued, just the status has not been updated on egov?

Man. I wonder if there's an issue with my wife's green card issuance.

Paid: 10/28/2019
POE: 11/12/2019  CR-1 (JFK if it matters)

It still shows payment received, and no update on the old site for the case update date. New site it says 11/14/2019 USCIS has accepted the application/petition/request for processing.

My wife also had the IV docs in CCD (no packet)

01/28/2019 - Mailed Express Mail USCIS Lockbox Phoenix

01/29/2019 - Received by Phoenix Lockbox
02/04/2019 - Receipt Notice Via Text Message assigned to Nebraska Service Center
