Hi everyone,

So I got my EAD in the mail two days ago and while filing for it, I had filed for an Advance Parole too. Now the letter says that it is a combo card and can be used as an Advance Parole too. So my question is, how long can I stay out of US for? I am planning to go back to my country and finish my degree which will take roughly 5 months. Will I be allowed to reenter on AP after staying out consecutively for 5-6 months?

There is no set time to be out of the US and re-enter with AP, but it is typically used for short trips while waiting for the green card to be approved.

If you get an interview, you would need to return for it.
