My husband arrived on August 2014 and we got married on October 2014. He currently has a green card, I guess a temporary one. So what to do next?

Yes, your husband has a 2 year temporary green card. You will need to file for his ROC (Removing Of Conditions) on his green card starting 90 days before his 2 year green card expires. He will then receive a letter from the USCIS giving him a 1 year extension to it while his ROC is in processing. This will allow him to still work and travel outside of the country if y'all want.

the card says resident since 6/17/2015 and card expires 6/17/2017. I guess they dont base the date from the arrival date which was August 2014?

They base the date off the GC issue date, as in when his I-485 was approved.

That's correct. You'll file your ROC next year, in the 90 days before his card expiration.

Here is a tip: Use an online account as a tool to remind you when to start the process. Use something like Outlook or Google Calendar to set reminders. Have two dates, the first would be 2 weeks before the 90 day period prior to the GC expiration. This will allow you enough time to gather all the documents and evidence you need. The second date would be the 90 day period. So in your case it would be close to March 17th, 2017. Also, in the reminders put links or attachments to all the guides and documents needed for the process. That way when the reminder comes up you can just click on the links, research, and print out items as needed.

He can file on his own, if he's divorced. You have no power to send him back to his country.

He's not your property. You can't just "send him back to his country". If your marriage is over, divorce him.

He can ROC on his own after divorce.

B) you cant just send him back

And c) if you decide to keep any of his immigration mail from him, thats illegal
