Would an EAD from marriage based petition revoke an L1 when used for drivers license renewal

Here's the circumstance: I've been married to an USC for almost 12 years and I'm currently in the US on a L1A. We've submitted an AOS based on marriage and we're currently waiting on EAD etc etc. If I use the EAD or AOS NOA1 to extend my drivers license will it invalidate my L1? There are personal reasons why I would prefer to use my EAD or NOA1 to extend my drivers license but if my L1 becomes invalidated from doing so then that causes issues with my employer.

May 23rd: I-130, AOS, EAD and AP received

June 6th: Hard copy receipts received for I-130, AOS and EAD. AP receipt not received (however lawyer sent me copies of his receipts which included the AP)
June 6th: Receipt numbers work on USCIS.
June 11th: Biometrics notification
June 13th: Biometrics (walk in)

Aug 13th: Text notification for EAD. Card being produced

Aug 15th: Text notification for EAD & AP. Case approved

Aug 18th: Text notification for EAD. Card has been mailed

Aug 20th: EAD/AP Combo card delivered

2017

April 16th: Applied for EAD/AP renewal

April 25th: EAD/AP case received

May 16th: Text notification received for AOS case status update: interview is scheduled

June 06th: Redo medical

June 20th: Interview date. Evening email: "We ordered your new card"

June 21st: Email received "Case was approved"

June 23rd: Email received "Card was mailed to me"

June 27th: 10 year Green Card delivered 

 

March 22nd 2020: N-400 window opens

I have no idea about the answer to your question. Don't use the NOA1 for this, to be on the safe side. Once you have your EAD, why would it cause problems with your employer? With the EAD you are legally allowed to work so why would they not want to keep employing you? In any case, once you have your GC that for sure will invalidate any visa you previously had, is that not a problem then?

Using the EAD for work will invalidate the L1, but I don't think it should for a DL at the state level. But I am not sure why using EAD will be a problem for your employer? They know you got married.

Well once you get the GC your L1 will be invalidated. Are you hoping not to show them and just hope that they never update their HR records? Or are you hoping to quit once you get it? Because you can work anywhere with EAD and therefore, quit.

Well, I am not sure how the employer would know your used an EAD for your license. It's not like they would get an alert. As far as I know, HR just needs to get the right employment paperwork when you start and then check it when it is due to expire. It's not like they check that your L1 is valid every day or something, or even every month.
