Hi all,

Tried looking for this subject but I cannot find the answer I am looking for.

My fiance and I(I am the beneficiary) applied for the K1 Visa in April. Awaiting NOA2 at the moment (probably a month off still).

I am in Australia (Permanent Resident), but I am wanting to explore the possibility of going home (South Africa) and spending time with family before moving to America.

Am I able to transfer my case so that the NVC re-directs my I129f (when it is approved) to the South African embassy, or is this too messy to try and attempt?

What sort of delays would I expect?

Regards,

Matthew

Yes you can get the NVC to change your case number. You will need to be right on top of when they get the case though because K1 tend to get shipped out quickly since you guys book your own interviews.
