Hi all,

I received my 'K1 Package & Appointment Package' via email. I have a couple of questions.. I'm waiting for a response from the office, but hoping someone here could help me

1. Medical and Interview Appointment Scheduling Dates

My interview appointment is scheduled for 28 June, 2016 and my medical exam is scheduled for 24 June, 2016. Will there be an issue with the short duration between the 2 appointments, and the consulate receiving my medical reports in time for the interview?

2. Validation Letter

The K1 Appointment Check List advises me to bring a Validation Letter. Is this required even if our K1 Petition is valid until September 10, 2016?

3. MRV Fee Receipt Of Payment

I am required to make payment prior to my interview and bring the receipt with me to the appointment, however the appointment date is not showing up on the USTravelDocs dashboard when I log on to the website to pay by credit card. Could someone please advise me of how to make the payment by credit card?

in my opinion:

1-yes it's too short duration for two appts. you may need to reschedule your interview day.

2-no worry they will take care of it if additional time is needed

3- i dont know why your apptmnt day is not showing but keep in mind do not use Safari and Firefox browsers if u want to pay by credit card online. Explorer or Chrome ok

Keep your scheduled medical appointment. I was told they courier them over either late that afternoon or early the next morning. My interview was the next day first thing in the morning and unfortunately it hadn't arrived yet but the lady interviewing me was lovely and said my visa would be issued as soon as the medical arrived. The visa's take around a week and I had mine in that time.

Hopefully someone else can help you with your other questions. :)
