Be very careful to not be bamboozled into another scam by so called friends who know a friend and want to hook you up. Please be watchful ! The part 2 sequel to scamming is a vulnerable person just suffering from a breakup thinking they are talking to a shoulder to cry on and next thing they know they are entangled in another web of deceit either by that very person themselves or they want to introduce you to some family member or friend. The yahoo internet boys make their rounds.

That would be terrible :wow:

Happens a lot ! Friends will beg friends to introduce them to USC women for papers.

Just this morning I saw a text to someone begging for that. It's crazy.

They want broken hearted ladies ready to visit Ghana or whatever their country is.

Many pass names around for those ready for the plucking.

Out of the blue comes the next knight in shining armor wanna -be and there goes the sequel.

USC thinks it must be fate on how they met but in reality it is all part of the plan to hook each other up.

Happens in all high fraud countries but I have seen it personally in West African countries in internet shops

and from people that were near me. I also was asked numerous times if I have a USC friend that I can introduce to them.

Crazy I say ! Just be watchful and observe and don't fall too hard too soon.

Ebunoluwa I thank you and know that the scam is never ending...lol The first thing I did was seek help. He refused to attend and now I know why. I am working on myself and know that I must take a season to myself to heal. My fear was losing my health insurance, but God has provided people into my life to help me. I am also in a divorce care group. We met on FB, and I have never been on a dating site. I am older and wiser.

My friend, who is from Senegal by the way, said the same thing. She said that her friends, cousins, neighbors and such have asked her to introduce them to a USC. They don't say a nice, loving woman, from this to that age, a specific religion or anything like that, they just want anyone. They could be 55 years old, can't have kids, different religion, even a different race, and all of a sudden this young 25 year old is all of a sudden in love, and can't wait to be with the love of his life in America. They don't care what they have to say, they don't plan on being with that person anyway, they just want a GC. It's so sad. Beware !!!

Ebunoluwa thank you and I know exactly what you mean. I felt so lost in the beginning. I knew I had to seek professional help, even ask him to attend I know now why he refused. I am getting stronger everyday. I also attend a divorce care group . I know that I need a season to myself to heal. I met him on FB. I have deleted my personally page, started writing a blog of my experience and giving myself time. I will be very careful with my heart from now on.

Yes, after my experience I have research so much about this. I can't say I wouldn't do it again. I will say that I will heed the red flags that was all in my face. I really enjoyed my trip to Ghana. The people are wonderful. I can even say that he has some family that I know are truly humble and would be shame of the person he has become. When he arrived here the FB pictures disappeared. Not one picture of us together. The change of the password, the new phone, every conversation in his local language.......just so sad and disappointed

When I visit him in Ghana all of his friends wanted to know if I had a friend for them. He even joked about writing a book and selling it in Ghana......now I wonder about it all.

There is a 30+ years difference in our ages but we still love one another and want to spend our life together. My preference is in the US but I know we are going to have a battle getting it approved. This is not a matter that I take lightly. We have talked about the fact that I can't have kids and he says he is fine with that. He is not someone I would have picked if I hadn't got to know him before I saw his picture. Now I can't imagine not having him in my life. I have helped amor of people with immigration paperwork to being their family here but I have never done one in this matter. I have known many that have gotten married inthe US. Has anyone had to prove up their relationship and what did they need. I have been trying to figure out if filling for a fiancee is better than going there and marrying him in Ghana and then applying after we are married. We just want to do this the best and easiest way so that we can start our life together. Anyone with any helpful information would be greatly appreciated. I can't say that he wants papers because he really wants me to come live in Ghana for at least a year but I want him to come to the US.

I most say his idea would probably be in your favor since you embassy is very hard.

FaceTime, facetime and facetime is what you guys will need.

He wants you to live in Ghana for a year because he knows that you won't have a snowball's chance in hell to get approved

without a significant amount of time spend together. That doesn't mean he won't do what's necessary (just) to get a visa.

Even if you marry and have not spend a lot of time together before filing a CR1,

your petition would be likely returned for another year of review/re affirmation besides the initial 12-18 months before an interview.

A K1 for you with this embassy would be likely returned.

Live in his country for several months at least and get to know him before you even think of marrying.

Build some kind of life together for some quality relationship evidence before filing, you will need it with the big age gap

for Ghana, a very tough embassy too many visas get refused and cases returned.

I don't understand how you helped many get their immigration papers but don't know what to include as evidence for your

own petition.

The immigration paperwork was for them to being wives and children to the US. They had been married for 25 years. Didn't have to prove relationship only marriage certificate and birth records. The others were all married long times also. Never done any for someone wanting to marry. Thank you for the information. Will Ghana give him a vistors visa to come visit here?

Ghana is prob one of the most difficult embassys to get by and thats with no red flags.

If you are really in love and feel confident move to Ghana for a year it cant hurt you to one get time together to establish and to see if it will work out.

As far as visit visa especially since you have a relationship anyone here cant advice you on it so that you can get married on it since its a visa for non immigrant intent and coming on it and marrying would be fraudulant.

All i can say is getting a visit visa in Ghana not very likely.

Move to Ghana for the year and Marry seems like the best option.
