Haha it's very real... i was amazed as well, and so was the IO when i called may 18th where i was at, because my statuses never updated and things showed up in the mail I called them and spoke to tier 2...

He triple checked it but i got approved in less than 2 months, even to his surprise ><

Met around 2011/2012 in a game (league of legends) super random, best friends ever since... grew closer as friends and desided in 2013 to try dating, flew over and we had a click =)

12/2015 - Receive K1 (texas backlog drama, took a year!)

(Day 086) 06/08/16 - EAD Mailed to me

(Day 088) 06/10/16 - GC Mailed to me

(Day 089) 06/11/16 - EAD & AP combocard received (It still came eventho it's useless since AOS approval)

Ours just changed to New Card is being Produced 77 days after filing!

The last thing we did was biometrics, EAD and AP status didn't change at all, but it seems that theres a GC coming our way!

So yeah this is real, it seems that K1's are being streamlined and we're not even getting interview waiver notices!

Congratulation! That's awesome!

So the title says it all, I just received a permanent resident card in the mail. It's green, it has my face and it expires in 2 years. This can only lead me to assume that it is in fact my actual green card.

So here's the thing, is this real? I mean it really is real, it came with all the right bits of paperwork, I-797 to confirm. I log in online at USCIS and they say that it has been delivered.

My question is why on earth I've received it 8 months early? I applied in Feb 2016 and guessed I would be having my interview 1 year later in 2017. I've had terrible trouble getting things sorted with them and they've been sending my mail to all sorts of crazy places. I'm just scared this isn't real or they made a mistake, this is just insane to me. I'm not complaining AT ALL, but I'm just a little worried this is all too good to be true.

Has anyone else ever heard of this happening or would know why? Or if this is just normal and I'm being an idiot and I have to go to an interview still?

Any light on this would be amazing.

Wow, I love this thread! Congratulations to all of you who did get your GC so soon :goofy:

It gives me hope!

And thank you zwoodward for sharing that you didn't have a fiancé visa. I came in on a tourist visa so was wondering about that.
